Azerbaijan, Lebanon mull regional issues PHOTO

As part of his working visit to Qatar, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of Lebanon Abdallah Bou Habib.

The meeting focused on bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Lebanon, opportunities for cooperation in political, economic, humanitarian, cultural and other spheres. The importance of political consultations between the foreign ministries, and cooperation within international organizations, particularly the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement was pointed out at the meeting, the ministry told Caliber.Az.

FM Bayramov provided an insight into the latest processes in the region, Azerbaijani-Armenian normalisation process, and liberation of four Azerbaijani villages from occupation.

The sides exchanged views on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
