Azerbaijan marks 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Ireland
Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry has congratulated Ireland on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Baku and Dublin, according to a post published by the ministry on X.
“Today marks the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Ireland.
Warm congratulations on this important milestone in Azerbaijan–Ireland diplomatic relations,” the ministry said in its statement.

Diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Ireland were established on July 1, 1996.
Azerbaijan is represented in Ireland through its embassy in London, while Ireland is represented in Azerbaijan through its embassy in Ankara, Türkiye.
Bilateral ties have focused on areas such as political dialogue, economic cooperation, trade, education, and cultural exchanges, with both countries showing interest in further strengthening these links despite the geographical distance.
