Azerbaijan marks diplomatic service day with official reception in Baku PHOTO

Azerbaijan has marked the professional holiday of its diplomatic service with an official reception held at Gulustan Palace in Baku.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other government institutions, members of the Milli Majlis, as well as heads and representatives of foreign diplomatic missions and international organisations accredited in Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports per the Foreign Ministry.

Speeches were delivered by Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Presidential Aide and Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev, and Morocco’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohamed Adil Embarsh, who serves as dean of the diplomatic corps.

The speakers congratulated Azerbaijani diplomats on their professional holiday and highlighted their role in implementing the country’s foreign policy, advancing national interests, and strengthening Azerbaijan’s international position.

The event also reviewed Azerbaijan’s foreign policy achievements and outlined key priorities for future diplomatic efforts.

The reception concluded with a concert programme.
