Azerbaijan, Mexico hold political consultations
Mexico and Azerbaijan held the third meeting of political consultations at the Mexican Foreign Ministry.
The meeting was co-chaired by Mexican Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador Carmen Moreno Toscano and Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov, APA reports.
During the meeting, the co-chairs declared their commitment to increasing the intensity of bilateral relations.
Besides, the need to intensify political and economic relations was touched upon. The importance of developing relations between the private sector of both countries was emphasized, with particular emphasis on small and medium-sized businesses.
The parties exchanged views on various regional issues and prospects for energy security.
The position of Mexico on the importance of the peaceful settlement of conflicts based on the principles of international law, dialogue, negotiations, mediation and other means of conflict resolution was also confirmed.
