Azerbaijan, Moldova discuss fostering bilateral ties PHOTO

Moldovan Interior Minister Adrian Efros has had a meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Moldova Gudsi Osmanov.

The agenda of the discussions referred to the fostering of bilateral relations, boosting the strategic dialogue, and cooperation in the interior affairs sector, Moldpress reports.

In this respect, the interior minister emphasized the progress made in the achievement of the goals set in the agenda of development of the Interior Ministry (MAI), measures of intervention, and combating corruption and cross-border criminality. Thus, the sides stressed the need to establish a mechanism that would facilitate the mutual exchange of information on cross-border offenses. 

At the same time, Adrian Efros reiterated the MAI’s openness and willingness for boosting the relations with Azerbaijan, in order to achieve common goals.   

For his part, the ambassador of Azerbaijan showed interest and openness in the close cooperation on a wide range of fields of interior affairs.
