Azerbaijan, Montenegro hold second round of political consultations in Podgorica PHOTO

The second round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Montenegro has been held in Podgorica, underscoring continued engagement between the two countries.

The talks were led by Montenegro’s State Secretary at the Foreign Ministry, Periša Kastratović, and Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

Both sides reaffirmed the friendly character of bilateral relations and expressed interest in further deepening cooperation across a range of areas, including energy, tourism, agriculture, education, science and culture.

The discussions also covered prospects for multilateral cooperation, Montenegro’s European integration process, as well as regional and global developments of mutual interest.
