Azerbaijan, NATO hold key talks on military education

Rector of Azerbaijan’s National Defence University, Major General Gunduz Abdulov, has hosted a delegation led by Lieutenant General Max A.L.T. Nielsen, Commandant of the NATO Defense College (NDC), who is currently on a visit to Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the NATO Defense College delegation was briefed on the history of the National Defense University, its educational system, and key areas of activity, Caliber.Az reports citing Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan.

The delegation was provided with a detailed overview of the positive outcomes from the successful reforms implemented in the Azerbaijani Army, particularly in the field of military education.

The meeting also included a comprehensive exchange of views on topics of mutual interest in military education. The sides emphasized the importance of further advancing the efforts made in this area and stressed the potential for implementing joint projects in the future.
