Azerbaijan Naval Forces conduct military exercise in severe cold, snowdrifts VIDEO
An intensive military exercise titled “Conducting battle in snowdrifts and severe cold” was recently carried out by the Marine Units of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces.
The exercise, designed to enhance the operational capabilities of personnel in extreme weather conditions, was conducted under challenging winter terrain and low temperatures, Caliber.Az reports citing Azerbaijan’s Defence Ministry.
According to the exercise scenario, the marine units were tasked with neutralizing an imaginary enemy’s sabotage group. Using intelligence data, the forces successfully identified the coordinates of enemy shelters and moved strategically towards them through a snow-covered wooded area. Once the sabotage group was located, the marines swiftly and efficiently neutralized the threat, demonstrating remarkable professionalism.
The exercise was centered on improving the military personnel’s ability to perform in harsh conditions and to increase their effectiveness in executing tasks in unfavorable terrain. The units effectively applied their previous combat experience to successfully complete the mission, showcasing their high level of readiness and tactical expertise.
This training is part of Azerbaijan’s continued efforts to strengthen its military capabilities, ensuring that its forces are well-prepared for a wide range of operational environments.
