Azerbaijan offers condolences to Kuwait following tragic fire

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has expressed condolences to Kuwait over the death of many people as a result of a fire

Caliber.Az reports, citing a post on the ministry’s social media page.

"We are deeply saddened by the news of the tragic fire in Mangaf, which resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries. We express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded. In this difficult time, Azerbaijan stands with the brotherly and friendly state of Kuwait," the statement reads.

According to the latest data, at least 49 people were killed in a fire in a residential building in the town of Mangaf in southern Kuwait.
