Azerbaijan offers to manufacture agricultural products under single OTS brand

Azerbaijan has proposed to manufacture agricultural products under a single brand of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov made a proposal at the 3rd Meeting of Ministers in charge of Agriculture of the OTS in Kazakhstan, per Report.

He proposed to launch a pilot project related to the production of agricultural and food products under a single brand of OTS, and to study the possibility of application of a common system of agricultural insurance within the organization.

The minister drew attention to the fact that President Ilham Aliyev declared the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation a zone of "green energy" and that the territories have great agrarian potential. He affirmed Azerbaijan’s readiness to cooperate with friendly countries to restore and develop agriculture in the liberated territories.
