Azerbaijan, Pakistan celebrate deepening partnership on global stage PHOTO
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Federal Ombudsman of Pakistan and President of the Asian Ombudsman Association, Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi, focusing on deepening strategic partnership in international arena.
The sides hailed the dynamic growth of Azerbaijani-Pakistani relations, which are rooted in principles of friendship and brotherhood. They underscored the crucial role of direct leadership contacts in building a strategic intergovernmental partnership, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The discussion highlighted the increasing momentum of economic cooperation and mutual investments between the two countries, which, in turn, positively affects progress in other sectors. Both sides also noted that collaboration between the ombudsmen of Azerbaijan and Pakistan provides additional support for deepening and broadening bilateral relations.
FM Bayramov and Qureshi further commended the coordinated efforts and mutual backing of Baku and Islamabad in international and regional organizations, including the United Nations, the Non-Aligned Movement, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation, and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia.
The meeting concluded with a wide-ranging exchange of views on issues of mutual interest, reflecting the ongoing commitment of both countries to strengthen their strategic partnership.
