Azerbaijan, Pakistan deepen naval cooperation at PIMEC-2025 in Karachi photo
A delegation from the Azerbaijani Navy, led by First Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff Captain First Rank Teymur Murshudov, visited Karachi to participate in the 11th International Maritime Exhibition and Conference (PIMEC-2025).
According to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defence, cited by Caliber.Az, during the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation held several meetings with senior officials of the Pakistan Navy.
The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral naval cooperation and exploring prospects for joint initiatives between the two countries’ maritime forces.
As part of the international event, the Azerbaijani representatives also took part in a series of conferences covering a wide range of topics, including green energy, maritime security, environmental protection, the maritime economy, trade and transportation, and maritime tourism.
The PIMEC-2025 exhibition and conference brought together leading figures and investors from the global maritime industry, highlighting Pakistan’s growing potential in maritime trade, defence, and technological innovation.
