Azerbaijan, Pakistan sign protocol after intergovernmental commission session
The officials from Azerbaijan and Pakistan have discussed cooperation in various sectors at the 8th session of the Pakistan-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission.
A protocol was signed in Islamabad following the session, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense Industry told Caliber.Az.
Azerbaijani Minister of Defense Industry Vugar Mustafayev, Pakistan's Minister of Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif and other officials attended the meeting.
The discussions focused on cooperation in various sectors, including defence industry, technologies, transportation, education, healthcare, etc.
Both sides agreed to hold the next, 9th meeting of the intergovernmental commission in Baku.
Earlier, the Azerbaijani delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov and the Pakistani delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Amna Baloch exchanged views on cooperation in various areas.
The fourth round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Pakistan was held in Islamabad on January 23. The sides exchanged views on cooperation in various areas, including politics, trade, economy, agriculture, education, culture, energy, tourism, and others. The importance of mutual visits was highlighted, emphasising their positive impact on the development of bilateral relations.
