Azerbaijan, Pakistan step up military partnership with new staff document PHOTO
On January 23, Maj-Gen Ilgar Latifov, Deputy Commander of the Azerbaijan Army’s Land Forces, held a meeting with Maj-Gen Abdullah Kashif, Director General of Military Operations of the Pakistan Armed Forces, who is currently on an official visit to Azerbaijan.
The meeting focused on the current status and future prospects of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, Caliber.Az reports via the Defence Ministry.
Both sides discussed the importance of increasing the frequency of joint military exercises, aimed at facilitating the exchange of skills and enhancing the capabilities of their military personnel.
The discussions culminated in the signing of the "Instructions for Conducting Staff Talks between the Land Forces of the Azerbaijan Army and the Land Forces of the Pakistan Army.”
