Azerbaijan, Panama discuss bilateral cooperation PHOTO
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Panama Mammad Talibov has presented his credentials to the President of the country.
Talibov first extended Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s sincere greetings to President Laurentino Cortizo Cohen. Expressing gratitude, the Panamanian leader also asked to convey his deepest respect and best wishes to President Ilham Aliyev, the embassy told Caliber.Az.
During the conversation, the sides noted that Azerbaijan and Panama have established permanent contacts, fruitful dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation both in bilateral format and within international organizations, including the Non-Aligned Movement.
The Panamanian president affirmed his government’s interest in further strengthening of ties of friendship and cooperation with Azerbaijan, and wished Ambassador Talibov success in his further activity in this regard.
Following the ceremony, Panama's Foreign Minister Janaina Tewaney and Ambassador Mammad Talibov held a bilateral meeting, exchanging views on the current state of relations between the two countries and other issues of mutual interest.
