Azerbaijan participating in Eternal Brotherhood-III exercises in Kazakhstan PHOTO / VIDEO
A ceremonial opening of "Eternal Brotherhood-III" multinational joint special forces exercises was held at the Orda training ground in the Turkistan region of Kazakhstan on September 10.
Special forces from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Pakistan, Qatar, and Uzbekistan are participating in the exercises, with Jordan and Kyrgyzstan invited as observers, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.
The primary objective of these exercises is to enhance the operational coordination of command and control units, improve the practical skills and professionalism of the personnel, and facilitate mutual experience sharing. During the exercises, special forces will undertake tactical, firearms, parachuting, and sniper training, as well as tasks related to detecting and neutralising illegal armed groups in settlements. The exercises, which involve armoured vehicles, aviation, and drones, engage up to 300 special forces personnel from six countries.
