Baku, Prague focus on political, economic, energy cooperation
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Czech counterpart Jan Lipavský held a telephone conversation to discuss ongoing cooperation between the two countries across a range of strategic sectors.
During the exchange, the ministers reviewed bilateral ties in the political, economic, and energy domains, emphasizing the value of sustained diplomatic engagement and structured consultations, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
The sides affirmed that the established dialogue and consultation mechanisms—complemented by mutual visits and high-level contacts—are significantly contributing to the strengthening of Azerbaijani-Czech relations in both bilateral and multilateral frameworks.
The foreign ministers praised the current trajectory of trade and economic relations, highlighting continued growth and mutual interest in expanding cooperation.
The conversation also included a discussion of the regional situation, reflecting shared concerns and perspectives on evolving geopolitical dynamics. In addition, the ministers exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest, underscoring a commitment to further deepening collaboration across various sectors.
