Azerbaijan PM explores cultural heritage hub in Tashkent
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, as part of his working visit to Uzbekistan, has visited the Centre for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent.
Asadov was briefed on the activities of the complex, its exhibitions, scientific and educational projects, and efforts to preserve the spiritual heritage of the Islamic world, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The Centre for Islamic Civilization is one of Uzbekistan’s major cultural and scientific complexes. It showcases materials reflecting the contribution of Central Asian countries to the development of science, education, culture, and Islamic civilization.
PM Asadov toured the exhibition dedicated to prominent thinkers, scholars, and theologians of the region, as well as modern digital solutions implemented at the centre.
The Azerbaijani prime minister is in the Uzbek capital to participate in the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum.
