Azerbaijan, Poland hold first consular consultations in Warsaw
The first consular consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Poland were held in Warsaw, the capital of the Republic of Poland, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
The Azerbaijani delegation was led by Emil Safarov, Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, while the Polish delegation was headed by Justyna Hrżanowska, Director of the Consular Affairs Department of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
During the consultations, the delegations discussed the current state and prospects for cooperation in consular affairs, including the signing of new bilateral documents and the possibilities for digitalising consular services.
The talks also covered broader topics, such as bilateral and multilateral cooperation in justice, internal affairs, prosecution, migration, and expanding overall bilateral ties.
