Azerbaijan, Portugal to continue development of bilateral relations PHOTO

Azerbaijan and Portugal intend to develop relations both at the bilateral level and within the framework of multilateral formats.

This is stated in a joint communiqué issued in connection with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

“We would like to take this opportunity and declare our intention to develop our relations both at the bilateral level and within the framework of multilateral formats. The 30th anniversary of our diplomatic relations is not only a cause for celebration but also an important opportunity to demonstrate a mutual commitment to expanding and deepening the bilateral agenda in the political, economic and cultural spheres,” the document says.

Thus, the steps taken to further develop relations in the economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as to strengthen the legal framework between the countries, open up new prospects for expanding bilateral relations.
