Azerbaijan prepares new document to fight medicine shortage

The Azerbaijani government is developing a new document in connection with medicines.

According to the Chairman of the Health Committee of the Parliament, Ahliman Amiraslanov, it is necessary to resolve the issue of the shortage of medicines in the country.

“It is reported that the Cabinet of Ministers is developing a new document on medicines. Prime Minister Ali Asadov, during his speech in parliament, noted that the opinion of experienced specialists is being clarified when preparing this document," he was quoted as saying by Report.

"Probably, at a certain stage, members of the committee will also be involved in the preparation. I think that this will help to simplify the import of medicines to Azerbaijan, and possibly reduce prices.”
