Azerbaijan presents reintegration plans, Armenian residents ask for food and fuel Azerbaijani presidential administration on the meeting in Yevlakh
On September 21, Ramin Mammadov, who was appointed in charge of contacts with the Armenian residents of Garabagh, met with Sergei Martirosyan and David Melkumyan in Yevlakh at the invitation of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Rear Admiral Oleg Semenov, head of the Russian side of the joint Russian-Turkish monitoring centre, joined the meeting as a participant, Caliber.Az reports.
At the meeting, which was held in a constructive and positive atmosphere, issues related to the reintegration of the Armenian population of Karabakh on the basis of the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as issues related to the restoration of infrastructure and organization of activities were discussed.

The sides also stressed the importance of the speedy implementation of the issues reflected in the statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan of September 20 on the cessation of anti-terrorist activities.
In the context of the discussion of social and humanitarian issues, the representatives of the Armenian residents of the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan noted the special need for fuel. They also expressed a request for humanitarian assistance, including the delivery of foodstuffs.
As a result of the meeting, their request was welcomed positively. In particular, it is planned to provide humanitarian support, fuel, heating systems in kindergartens and schools, emergency medical aid and fire-fighting services in the nearest future.
An agreement was reached to hold another meeting in the near future.
