Azerbaijan, Qatar aim to deepen cooperation following Doha forum meeting

Azerbaijan and Qatar have expressed their intention to strengthen ties and expand collaboration in political, economic, and cultural fields after a high-level meeting on the sidelines of the Doha Forum.

Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, met with H.E. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Qatar’s Minister of State for International Cooperation, Caliber.Az reports.

“On the sidelines of the Doha Forum, I was pleased to meet with H.E. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Minister of State for International Cooperation of the State of Qatar,” Hajiyev wrote on X.

He added that the discussions focused on strengthening the “brotherly relations between our countries” and that both sides had “agreed to intensify our cooperation across areas of mutual interest.”
