Azerbaijan reorganises structure of Defence Ministry

The press service of the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry has been dissolved.

The order was signed by Defence Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

The press service has been replaced by a newly established Public Relations and Press Department to centralise operations and align with the communication strategy requirements of the Defence Ministry. Colonel Anar Eyvazov has been appointed as the head of this new department. Before this appointment, Colonel Eyvazov served as the head of the Ministry's press service.
