Azerbaijan resettles 86 more former internally displaced persons to Lachin
Azerbaijan resettled 86 more Lachin residents, who lived in Baku, to their hometown - Lachin city on December 14.
At this stage, the return of 20 families of former internally displaced persons has been ensured, Report informs.
Another migration caravan departed from the Gobu Park 3 residential complex in the Garadagh district of Baku.
Thanks to the victory won by the valiant Azerbaijani army under the leadership of the President, the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, former internally displaced persons were able to voluntarily, safely and with dignity return to their homeland after 30 years.
Residents of Lachin returning to their homes expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev, First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for comprehensive state care, as well as the valiant Azerbaijani army, heroic soldiers and officers who liberated our lands from occupation.
It should be noted that to date, 383 families or 1,475 people have returned to the city of Lachin.
