Azerbaijan reveals number of servicemen killed in local anti-terrorist measures in Garabagh

As many as 192 servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have been killed in local anti-terrorist measures in Garabagh, according to the Azerbaijani Health Ministry.

Following the actions carried out by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on September 19-20, 2023, the sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan was fully restored, Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry.

Of those 192 military, 180 were servicemen of the Ministry of Defence, 12 were servicemen of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and one of the killed persons was a civilian.

The identity of 11 persons will be established by forensic medical examination.

During local anti-terrorist measures, 511 servicemen and one civilian were wounded.

High-level teams of professional doctors have been involved in the treatment of the wounded, and all necessary medical measures are being taken.
