Azerbaijan, Russia launch key diplomatic talks in Moscow PHOTO
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov have begun talks in Moscow, with discussions set to focus on bilateral cooperation and key regional developments.
The meeting opened with a one-on-one session between the two foreign ministers before expanding into broader bilateral negotiations involving the official delegations of Azerbaijan and Russia, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The talks are expected to cover a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, including the current state and future prospects of Azerbaijan-Russia relations, as well as pressing regional developments and other matters of mutual interest.
The meeting comes amid continued diplomatic engagement between Baku and Moscow on regional security, political dialogue, and economic cooperation.
Following the negotiations, FMs Bayramov and Lavrov are scheduled to address the media at a joint press conference, where they are expected to outline the outcomes of the talks and answer questions from journalists.
