Evacuation corridor via Azerbaijan brings more people out of Iran UPDATED
An aditional 13 people were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan between 14:00 and 16:00 on March 5.
Among those evacuated were 10 Azerbaijani citizens, as well as one citizen each of Canada, Uzbekistan, and Russia. The evacuation was carried out through the Astara State Border Crossing Point, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Since the outbreak of military operations in Iran—from 08:00 on February 28 to 16:00 on March 5—the total number of people evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan has reached 1,339. Authorities continue to facilitate the safe passage of foreign nationals amid the ongoing situation.

Between 12:00 and 14:00 on March 5, a further nine individuals were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts.
Among those evacuated were five Azerbaijani citizens, two from Kyrgyzstan, one from China, and one from Georgia. The operation was carried out through the Astara border crossing, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Since the outbreak of military operations in Iran—from 08:00 on February 28 to 14:00 on March 5—a total of 1,326 people have been safely evacuated from the country to Azerbaijan.
Authorities continue to coordinate evacuations to ensure the safety of foreign nationals and residents affected by the ongoing conflict.
