Azerbaijan’s Combined Arms Army has completed another training session with reservists as part of the country’s 2026 military training and mobilization plan.
The exercises were conducted at one of the military units of the Combined Arms Army in coordination with the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, according to the Defence Ministry.
As part of the mobilization procedures, reservists were registered and underwent medical examinations at a reception point before being assigned according to their military occupational specialties.
Authorities also assessed their professional and moral-psychological qualities and ensured they received the necessary support.
The ministry said educational briefings were organised to strengthen discipline and responsibility among personnel, while reservists were informed about military regulations, relevant legislation and safety requirements.
The training programme included activities carried out under the daily military schedule, as well as combined arms and specialty training reflecting the demands of modern warfare.
Reservists also took part in live-fire drills using small arms and hand grenade launchers.
At the end of the session, servicemen who distinguished themselves during the exercises were presented with awards.
