Azerbaijan’s combined arms army unit conducts reservist training session VIDEO
Azerbaijan has completed a training session for reservists at a military unit of a Combined Arms Army, as part of the 2026 training plan carried out in coordination with the State Service for Mobilisation and Conscription, Azerbaijan’s Defence Ministry said.
According to the ministry, the exercise was conducted in line with mobilisation procedures, beginning with registration and medical examinations at a reception point, Caliber.Az reports.
Reservists were then assessed for their professional skills and psychological readiness before being assigned according to their military specialities and provided with logistical and administrative support.
Participants also received educational briefings aimed at reinforcing discipline and responsibility, alongside instruction on military regulations, relevant legislation, and safety requirements.
During the training, reservists underwent combined arms instruction and speciality-focused exercises designed to reflect modern combat conditions. The programme also included practical live-fire drills using small arms and hand grenade launchers.
The session concluded with the recognition and awarding of participants who demonstrated strong performance during the training.
