Azerbaijan’s Defence Ministry leadership reviewed the organisation of service and combat activities, as well as social and living conditions, at military units of the Separate Combined Arms Army.
The ministry leadership met with servicemen at combat positions and inquired about their concerns and problems, the Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.
It was noted that, thanks to the attention and care of President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the military units have been provided with all the necessary infrastructure to improve the personnel’s social and living conditions, maintain a high level of combat readiness, and ensure continuous and safe combat duty.
Particular attention was drawn to the engineering and fortification structures prepared at the combat positions to withstand artillery strikes and threats from unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Defence Ministry leadership then visited a training ground and reviewed the conditions provided for training sessions and exercises.
At the end of the visit, Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov issued instructions on further improving the personnel’s social and living conditions, increasing the intensity of combat training, and studying the effective use of weapons and military equipment.
