Azerbaijan's defence minister honours director general, group of servicemen

Azerbaijan's Minister of Defence, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has awarded the Deputy Minister of Defence – Director General and several military personnel with state medals in recognition of their service.

Under an order signed by Hasanov, Deputy Minister of Defence – Director General Agil Gurbanov received the Medal "For Services in the Field of Military Cooperation," Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry.

Major General Elmir Ibrahimov was awarded the 1st Degree Medal "For Distinction in Military Service," while Major General Elnur Kazimov and Colonel Teymur Mammadov were presented with the Medal "For Courage."
