Azerbaijan’s defence minister receives honour in Kazakhstan VIDEO
During his working visit to Kazakhstan on October 31, Azerbaijani Minister of Defence, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, was awarded the "Medal for Contribution to the Development of International Cooperation" by his Kazakh counterpart, Lieutenant General Dauren Kosanov.
The two ministers held a meeting where they emphasised the strong, brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, Caliber.Az reports per the Defence Ministry.
Discussions focused on the current state of cooperation in military, military-technical, and military-educational fields, as well as exploring new opportunities for strengthening military ties.
The meeting also addressed several other mutual interests, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to deepening bilateral collaboration. A key outcome of the visit was the signing of a military cooperation plan for 2026, which aims to further enhance defence relations between the two countries.
