Azerbaijan's defence power takes part in IDEF-2023 in Istanbul PHOTO
Azerbaijani Defence Ministry delegation is participating in the International Defence Industry Exhibition IDEF-2023, which kicked off in Istanbul on July 25.
The exhibition is being held under the auspices of the Turkish Presidential Administration and organised by the Turkish National Defence Ministry, Caliber.Az reports.
The exhibition presents 131 items of defence products, including various types of small arms, close combat weapons, mortars, ammunition of different calibre, and unmanned aerial vehicles produced at the enterprises of Azerbaijan’s Defence Industry Ministry.
Azerbaijani Defence Minister Col Gen Zakir Hasanov is paying a visit to Türkiye at the invitation of Turkish National Defence Minister Yashar Guler in order to participate in the exhibition.
The defence minister will view the weapons, vehicles and military equipment produced by various companies that will be displayed at the fair.
Besides, meetings of Azerbaijani Defence Industry Minister Madat Guliyev with Turkish officials and heads of delegations of a number of participating countries are scheduled within the framework of the exhibition.
The exhibition will last until July 28.
