Azerbaijan’s energy minister visits Serbia to strengthen bilateral cooperation
Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov is on a visit to Serbia at the invitation of Serbia's Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Đedović Handanović.
The visit focuses on discussing the agenda of bilateral energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia, as well as exploring opportunities for enhancing relations and identifying new spheres for collaboration in the energy sector, the ministry told Caliber.Az.
Earlier, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Serbian counterpart Marko Djuric met to discuss and advance bilateral relations between the two countries. The talks focused on strengthening the strategic partnership in various spheres, including political, economic, energy, and humanitarian ones.
Both ministers hailed the growing dynamics of the bilateral relations, highlighting mutual support in regional and international organisations. The foreign ministers emphasised the importance of deepening cooperation in education, science, and culture, and noted the positive impact of the visa-free regime and city twinning between Shusha and Novi Pazar.
