Azerbaijan's FM discusses key regional opportunities with Israel Economic Forum delegation PHOTO
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with a delegation led by Jonathan Missner, Co-Founder and member of the Board of Advisors of the Israel Economic Forum.
The meeting highlighted Azerbaijan's foreign policy priorities and regional opportunities, Caliber.Az reports referring to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Bayramov provided an overview of the country’s post-conflict realities, and the two sides discussed the prospects for Azerbaijan-Israel and Azerbaijan-US relations.
Note that, on January 27, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a meeting with Jonathan Missner, Co-Founder and Board Advisor of the Israel Economic Forum. The discussion highlighted Azerbaijan's long-standing tradition of peaceful coexistence among various religious communities, particularly the Jewish community, which has thrived in the country for centuries.
President Aliyev emphasized Azerbaijan's role in fostering global interfaith and intercultural dialogue. During the visit, Missner and his colleagues expressed appreciation for Azerbaijan's support of the Jewish community and its ongoing efforts to promote peace and cooperation.
They also visited the Guba district to explore the living conditions of the local Jewish community and witnessed the impressive reconstruction of areas in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories.
The meeting further touched on business and investment prospects, with a focus on strengthening ties between Azerbaijan, Israel, and the US.
