Azerbaijan’s FM honours Heydar Aliyev’s legacy, vision for independence

The architect of modern Azerbaijani statehood, the founder of the country’s strategic development path, and the National Leader of the people, Heydar Aliyev, always held an unwavering belief in the eternity of Azerbaijan’s independence.

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov made the remarks in a post on his “X” account marking the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

“In the establishment, strengthening, and development of our statehood, the National Leader rendered exceptional services and always maintained an unshakable belief in the permanence, continuity, and irreversibility of Azerbaijan’s independence. We commemorate the dear memory of this great personality, who made unparalleled contributions to the progress of independent Azerbaijan, the welfare of our people, and the strengthening of our country’s international standing, with deep respect and gratitude,” Bayramov added.
