Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry urges citizens to leave Iran
Amid the escalating situation in Iran, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged Azerbaijani citizens to refrain from travelling to the country and called on those currently there to leave via Azerbaijan or Türkiye.
According to a statement cited by Caliber.Az, the ministry also advised citizens to strictly observe safety precautions.
“We also urge our citizens to observe safety measures, stay away from crowded places, follow the instructions of local authorities, and monitor official sources of information.
In any emergency situation, our citizens can contact the Azerbaijani Embassy in Iran and the Consulate General in Tabriz,” the statement said.
