Azerbaijan's GDP exceeds $58 billion
The Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee has announced that the country's produced gross domestic product (GDP) worth 100.9 billion manats ($59.3 billion) in January-October 2023, or 0.5 per cent more than in the same period of 2022.
Added value decreased by 2.3 per cent in the oil and gas sector of the economy, while it increased by 3.1 per cent in the non-oil and gas sector, Report reports citing the State Statistics Committee.
Some 41.3 per cent of GDP production accounts for industry, 9.9 per cent - for trade and repair of vehicles, 6.2 per cent - for agriculture, forestry and fishing, 6.2 per cent - for transport and warehousing, 5 per cent - for construction, 2.3 per cent - for tourist accommodation and catering, 1.7 per cent - for information and communications, 18 per cent - for other spheres, 9.4 per cent - for net taxes on goods and imports.
GDP per capita is 9,938.7 manats ($5,846.2).
