Azerbaijan's Independence Day marked in New York City

Azerbaijan's Independence Day was marked in New York City on May 28.

The event was organised by the Azerbaijan-New York Association, Report informs.

The event was attended by activists of Azerbaijani and Turkish communities living in the state, representatives of intellectuals, local community and Azerbaijani students studying in the US.

The ceremony started with the singing of the Azerbaijani national anthem.

Azerbaijan's national music was played at the open-air event. Locals also watched the event with interest.
