Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan hosts Iranian diplomat to discuss key cooperation
The Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Demirchilou, is on a visit to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to explore bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
As part of his visit, the ambassador met with Bakhtiyar Mammadov, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The meeting focused on the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Iran, which have been strengthened by the political will and friendly ties of the two countries’ leaders.
The discussion also highlighted the role of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in these relations and included an exchange of views on matters of mutual interest.
The meeting was also attended by Aziz Mansouri, the Consul General of Iran in Nakhchivan.
