Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Separate Combined Arms Army holds tactical drills VIDEO

Special forces of the Separate Combined Arms Army of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic have conducted tactical exercises on "Conducting combat operations in harsh climatic conditions".

The purpose of the exercises is to conduct combat and rescue operations during severe frost, and improve the knowledge and skills of command personnel in managing units, according to Nuhcixan.

During the practical exercises, the personnel was trained to take immediate measures in case of frostbite, to render first aid, and safely evacuate the wounded in harsh climatic conditions on difficult terrain and in high mountainous areas.

The provision of special forces units with the necessary equipment and food was checked during the exercises.

The military personnel performed tactical actions in the rear of a hypothetical enemy during day and night.

All the goals set during the exercises, including the improvement of shooting skills, were achieved.
