Azerbaijan’s National Defence University hosts training with NATO experts PHOTO

The training on "Development of STANAG-6001 reading and listening test" with the specialists of Bureau for International Language Coordination (BILC) is being conducted at the Military Administration Institute of the National Defence University of the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry as part of NATO's Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP).

Before the training, rector of the Military Administration Institute, Doctor of National Security and Military Sciences, Professor, Colonel Babir Guliyev met with the guests, Caliber.Az reports citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.

The meetings and the organised courses played an important role in improving the military educational sphere of the Azerbaijani Army.

The delegation provided information about activities to be carried out during the training on teaching modern methodology, methods of military education.

The listening, reading and writing tests are standardised at the training conducted with the teaching staff of the Foreign Language Centre and experts on domestic and foreign education. The test samples compiled by test commissions are analysed in the presence of the servicemen studying at the Foreign Language Centre. The listening tests are checked.

The main objective of the training is to improve the knowledge and skills of teachers and instructors involved in the Foreign Language Centre’s activities on the development and evaluation of test questions of STANAG-6001.
