Azerbaijan’s preparations for COP29 highlighted in Korea

Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Ramin Hasanov addressed a climate conference on preparations for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

"At the conference on climate issues organized by WWF Korea (Korean representative of the World Wildlife Fund - ed.), the ambassador highlighted Azerbaijan's environmental security, policy of sustainable energy and green development, including the transformation of liberated territories into a green energy zone, as well as preparations for COP29," the embassy in Seoul told Report.

COP29 will be held in Azerbaijan this November. Delegations from all 199 countries that have signed the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change are expected to attend the conference.
