Azerbaijan’s presidential team focuses on revitalizing liberated regions in Khankendi talks PHOTO
A meeting of the Coordination Headquarters, chaired by Samir Nuriyev, head of the Azerbaijani President's Administration, was held in Khankendi to address issues in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories.
During the meeting, Samir Nuriyev highlighted the extensive scope of reconstruction and development works underway in the liberated territories under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Caliber.Az reports.
As part of the "I State Programme for the Great Return to the Liberated Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan," approved by the President, modern infrastructure is being established, and residential areas are being built to facilitate the comfortable return of displaced persons.
Currently, approximately 40,000 people, including returned former displaced persons, public and private sector employees, as well as students, reside and work in the liberated territories. Over 400 enterprises, including those in the Agdam Industrial Park, Araz Valley Economic Zone are operational in the region.
During the visit, various sites in the cities of Khankendi and Shusha were also inspected.
