Azerbaijan's prime minister meets World Customs Organisation chief
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with the Secretary General of the World Customs Organization (WCO) Kunio Mikuriya in Baku on March 14.
The parties lauded the importance of a multilateral meeting that is scheduled to be held in Baku and cover issues on the project to simplify the transit customs procedures using the principle of "one window" in the Trans-Caspian international transport corridor "East-West", Report informs citing the country’s Cabinet of Ministers.
The large-scale customs reforms conducted in Azerbaijan created favourable conditions for improving governance and restructuring the customs affairs in line with the challenges of the modern world.
The parties also discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral relations.
