Azerbaijan's success to host COP29 promises global benefits Presidential aide says

Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, has said that the country’s success to host COP29 promises global benefits.

“Azerbaijan’s successful hosting of COP29 will yield worldwide advantages,” Hajiyev said in his remarks during a presentation in Lachin, Caliber.Az reports.

The presidential aide emphasized the universal benefits of green energy, highlighting its versatile production capabilities. “Green energy can be produced anywhere, but it requires investment and innovation, which are achievable only through partnership and cooperation,” he stated.

During his speech, Hajiyev underscored the necessity of collaborative efforts to meet the ambitious goals set for COP29. He asserted that global support and mutual assistance are pivotal in ensuring the event's success.

“We strive to achieve the set goals and intend to intensify all efforts for this purpose. If we succeed in hosting COP29, it will be good for the whole world,” Hajiyev concluded.
