Azerbaijan’s Sumgayit, Austria’s Linz discuss cooperation opportunities PHOTO

The cooperation opportunities between Azerbaijan’s Sumgayit city and Austria’s Linz city have been discussed.

A delegation led by head of the Executive Authority of Sumgayit city Zakir Farajov made a working visit to Linz from December 4 to 6, Report informs.

The main purpose of the visit, made through the Azerbaijani embassy in Austria, was to develop relations between the Linz and Sumgayit, which have existed since 2009.

During the visit, meetings were held between Farajov and mayor of Linz Klaus Luger, representatives of the Upper Austrian Foreign Trade Department of the Economic Chamber, director of the port of Linz Harald Kronsteiner and representatives of business companies of the federal state of Upper Austria.

Sumgayit has partnership relations with cities in many countries. It has favourable conditions for the activity of foreign companies.
