Azerbaijan's tanks roar into action in live-fire combat drills VIDEO

The Azerbaijan Army’s tank units conducted live-fire tactical exercises as part of their 2024 training programme.

In line with the exercise plan, the units were placed on high alert and moved from their permanent deployment locations to designated assembly areas, Caliber.Az reports citing Defence Ministry.

At subsequent stages, decision-making processes were conducted at command posts, where headquarters staff delivered reports in response to the assigned combat training tasks.

The live-fire phase of the exercise simulated advancing on enemy positions and engaging both moving and stationary targets.

The training focused on enhancing the combat readiness of tank units, boosting the professionalism of military personnel, and ensuring effective coordination between tank units and supporting forces during battle, the ministry added.
