Azerbaijan’s top prosecutor heads to Washington to boost legal ties

A delegation led by Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General, Kamran Aliyev, has arrived in Washington for an official visit, underscoring ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Azerbaijan’s embassy in the US made a post on X, saying the visit featured high-level meetings with senior officials from the US Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of State, and the US Attorney’s Office, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

The discussions covered various issues of mutual interest, as well as promising areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States, the embassy said, highlighting the delegation’s focus on expanding collaboration in legal and judicial matters.
